Spencer Hom

Investment intern

Spencer is an Investment Intern at Frachtis. He is also currently building at Hashfire, a blockchain-based agreements/payments platform that converts traditional contracts into financeable, programmable digital assets. Prior to Frachtis, he worked at Voyager Capital as a Summer Analyst, where he focused on AI model development and investing in growth-stage AI startups. He was previously also a Venture Scout at Alumni Ventures, where he sourced and diligenced startups across Digital Identity and RWA.

In tandem with his work at Frachtis, Spencer is currently a Junior at Cornell University, where he is pursuing a B.S. in Applied Economics & Management and a minor in Information Science.

Xavier holds a Master’s degree in Financial Technology specializing in crypto and AI from MIP Politecnico di Milano, where he authored two academic papers, “Identifying Key Non-Financial Risks in Decentralised Finance” and “What Can Banks Learn from DeFi?” which were featured in Cointelegraph and CoinDesk. Xavier has also contributed as a peer reviewer for blockchain academic research from leading institutions, including Wharton and the World Economic Forum.
